Ever had trouble getting good string sections without defects? Clive Durose produce well colour matched, defect free laminated (not finger jointed) strings in several sizes to suit all stair makers needs. Of course we also supply Treads and Risers to the same high standards.

Oak Strings.

We can produce long lengths in different thicknesses. 4.5mtr and 4.2mtr in 245mm widths and thicknesses of 34mm and 27mm - this is engineered in four edge glued sections around a multi section core. With a carefully colour matched exterior it is substantial, stable and totally reliable. There are no visible finger joints in the outside faces. Other sizes available upon request.

Oak Treads.

Solid sections edge jointed and laminated to form a uniform stable tread. Sized at 22mm x 270mm x 1000mm and 1500mm these make the task so much easier for a busy staircase manufacturer or joinery company. Complete with round moulded edge so that your input is minimised and you can get on with the job as fast as possible.

These 14mm x 250mm x 1000mm and 1500mm match the quality of our strings and treads - Completing the range of ready planed components that can help speed up your production.
