Three carefully chosen designs - simply turned, twisted or fluted with generous sizes in spindles, newel posts and rails are available in a choice of different timbers. Exuding grandeur and indulgence it is distinctive with elegant, crisp detail, well proportioned and finished to perfection: Hand finished - by craftsmen.

There is visual strength in all three Craftsmans Choice designs. Whilst more traditional in style, there is always a place for an iconic piece of woodwork. More contemporary interiors can benefit from the obvious qualities. Like a piece of finest furniture a stair made with these cherished examples is simply stunning. Individually crafted you can be confident that each piece will stand scrutiny. It will blend in to your environment but stand out in its own right. Newstead.

A linear shape with an urn shaped cap and similar features in the spindle.

Newstead is crafted in two styles, a turned spindle and a twisted spindle. These are exceptionally well made with a superior hand sanded finish, a difference worth noting. Newel posts are made to the same design as the spindles.

Spindles are 56mm x 56mm and Newels are 117mm x 117mm. Available in Turned and Twisted patterns.

Trentham.

Curvaceous outlines bring about a style that suits most moods. Cottage, Town House, Country Manor, Newly built, whatever your house, Trentham has a smooth elegance that is unmistakeably a Clive Durose masterpiece. Beautifully turned it may also be embellished with a twist or fluted to add a little more detail and splendour. Three Trentham styles, each having a different look. Sutherland Barley Twist.

A simple turning with a bold twist brings out the best in any type of wood. When we say it's a simple design, that doesn't mean that just any body can make a good job of this traditional shape. Clive Durose craftsmen are well acquainted with the expectations of our discerning customers hence the finish we achieve is to a standard, a very high one.
